The Internet is exploding with visual media - photos, movies, maps, artwork, and animations just to name a few. As marvelous as this feast of eye candy is, it underscores the disconnect between our natural manner of interaction with imagery and current interfaces and content delivery systems. The status-quo browsing experience is ho-hum - just good enough to work but otherwise not all that aesthetically pleasing and certainly not aligned with the way that we humans relate to, search for, and interact with visual media. This means missed opportunities to find the content you want and to share it with the people that matter to you.
Enter Glyph Hound, an organization dedicated to providing innovative visual media technologies. Our rich media delivery application, currently in development, promises to enhance the web-browsing experience for all. Our approach enables high levels of interactivity with visual content, promotes social networking and knowledge sharing, and includes a few more surprises that we aren't quite ready to reveal just yet.
Please check back with us again as we prep the Hound for its debut.
